Video: Sumobot competition
Alex and I participated in Techno Chaos' first spring 2013 SumoBot competition last night. Entirely by chance, "my" robot was seeded against "Alex's" robot. We stalemated every time and the winner (Alex) was determined by a coin flip. Alex's robot went on to win the entire competition of 10 robots in total. We developed a diabolical lifter mechanism to lift other robots in order to rob them of most or all of their friction with the playing surface.
